Rawalpindi: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has announced the loss of several share certificates belonging to a shareholder, Mr. Zahid Akhtar, according to a notice published on February 13, 2025. The affected certificates pertain to a total of 700 shares and are registered under the folio number 13459.

Mr. Zahid Akhtar, whose address is listed as House No. 17, Rose Lane No. 6, New Lalazar, Rawalpindi, reported the loss of share certificates with distinctive numbers ranging from 155319301 to 155320000. These certificates are numbered 437854, 437855, and 437856, representing 100 shares, 100 shares, and 500 shares, respectively.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the notice has been disseminated among the members of the Exchange to advise them not to engage in transactions involving these specific share certificates. PTCL has indicated that, unless objections are raised within seven days from the notice's publication date, new duplicate certificates will be issued to Mr. Zahid Akhtar.

The company has urged any parties with objections or concerns regarding the reissuance of these certificates to come forward within the stipulated timeframe to prevent the issuance of duplicates. This measure ensures the security and integrity of share transactions within the market.
