Treet Battery Limited Reports Second Quarter Financial Results with No Dividends or Bonuses

Lahore: Treet Battery Limited announced its financial results for the second quarter ending December 31, 2024, following a Board of Directors meeting held on February 25, 2025. The company, categorized in the automotive market, reported no cash dividends, bonus shares, right shares, or any other entitlements or corporate actions for the period.

According to the unaudited financial statements, the company's total property and assets stood at 11.64 billion rupees as of December 31, 2024, compared to 12.81 billion rupees on June 30, 2024. The non-current assets decreased slightly to 8.92 billion rupees, while current assets fell to 2.72 billion rupees from 3.73 billion rupees.

On the equity and liabilities front, shareholders' equity decreased to 2.06 billion rupees from 2.24 billion rupees. Non-current liabilities also saw a reduction to 537.82 million rupees, and current liabilities decreased notably to 9.04 billion rupees from 10.02 billion rupees.

The company's cash flow statement for the half-year ended December 31, 2024, indicated a net cash outflow of 200.52 million rupees from operating activities, a significant contrast to the net cash inflow of 465.67 million rupees during the same period in the previous year. Investing activities resulted in a net cash outflow of 4.22 million rupees, while financing activities led to a net cash outflow of 152.81 million rupees.

The cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period were reported at 90.23 million rupees, a reduction from 447.79 million rupees at the beginning of the period.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Treet Battery Limited's financial performance reflects a challenging quarter with reduced asset values and increased liabilities. Despite the losses, the company continued operations without declaring dividends or additional shareholder incentives.
