Karachi: Pervez Ahmed Consultancy Services Limited has released its condensed interim statement of changes in equity for the six-month period ending December 31, 2024. The document, which was un-audited, details the financial shifts within the company's equity, including its share capital, capital reserves, and accumulated losses.
The share capital of the company remained steady at 1.87 billion as of December 31, 2024, unchanged from June 30, 2024. Share deposit money also remained constant at 20.62 million. The company's capital reserves showed a discount on the issue of shares, which was recorded at 818.33 million. Meanwhile, accumulated losses were reported at 1.62 billion, reflecting a marginal improvement from the previous figure of 1.63 billion as of June 30, 2024.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company posted a modest total comprehensive income of 9.03 million for the period ending December 31, 2024. This figure represents a significant increase from the previous comprehensive income of 219,703 recorded for the period ending June 30, 2024. As a result, the total equity of the company improved slightly from a deficit of 562.28 million to a deficit of 553.25 million over the six-month period.
The company also disclosed its investment portfolio, which includes both long-term and short-term investments. As of December 31, 2024, the long-term investments in unquoted securities were valued at 3.97 million, consistent with the valuation as of June 30, 2024. Short-term investments in listed securities saw an increase from 1.88 million to 2.37 million over the same period.
No significant events occurred after the reporting period that would necessitate adjustments or additional disclosures in the financial statements. These statements have been authorized for issue by the company's Board of Directors on February 25, 2025.
