Karachi: AGP Limited has announced changes to its trading and settlement schedule for deliverable future contracts (DFC) linked to the company's book closure date. The revised schedule affects contracts for March, April, and May 2025, according to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
The changes apply to the DFC-MAR-2025, DFC-APR-2025, and DFC-MAY-2025 contracts, which were initially announced through PSX notices dated January 31, 2025, and February 28, 2025. The revised schedule now sets the opening of contracts on February 3, 2025, with the closing date on March 24, 2025, and settlement occurring on March 26, 2025, for both March and April contracts. Meanwhile, the May contract follows the same timeline.
For trading without the entitlement of benefits, the APRB contract will open on March 20, 2025, closing on April 25, 2025, with settlement on April 29, 2025. The MAYB contract will also open on March 20, 2025, but it will close on May 30, 2025, and settle on June 3, 2025.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the last working day of the AGP-MAR contract has been moved up to March 24, 2025, from the previously scheduled March 27, 2025. This adjustment is to accommodate the book closure date as announced by AGP Limited.
The PSX reserves the right to alter or vary these dates if necessary, and trades in APRB and MAYB contracts will not be eligible for entitlements, as they will be conducted on an ex-benefit basis. The overlapping period for these contracts is set for three trading days, from March 20, 2025, to March 24, 2025.
