Karachi: Kohinoor Mills Limited has successfully elected its board of directors for a new term during an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on March 26, 2025. The meeting took place at the company's registered office located at 8 Kilometer Manga Raiwind Road, District Kasur.
The EGM, which convened at 2:30 p.m., was organized to address the election of seven directors for a term of three years, starting from March 31, 2025, as mandated by Section 159(1) of the Companies Act, 2017. The shareholders of Kohinoor Mills Limited discussed and approved the resolutions regarding the election of directors without opposition.
According to the resolutions passed, the following individuals have been elected unopposed as directors of the company: Mr. Aamir Fayyaz Sheikh, Mr. Ismail Aamir Fayyaz, Ms. Imrat Aamir Fayyaz, Mr. Rashid Ahmed, Mrs. Hajra Arham, Mr. Taimur Afzal, and Mr. Matiuddin Siddiqui. The directors were elected in accordance with Section 159 of the Companies Act, 2017.
The EGM concluded with a vote of thanks extended to the Chairman, Directors, external auditors, and shareholders of the company for their participation.
