Karachi: Several share certificates from a range of companies have been reported lost or misplaced, prompting an advisory for cautious trading on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). The affected companies include major players such as Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited and Habib Bank Limited.

According to a notification, share certificates from a series of companies have been reported as missing. The list comprises Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited, Dolmen City REIT, Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Din Textile Mills Limited, Cherat Packaging Limited, Systems Limited, Mehran Sugar Mills Limited, International Knitwear Limited, and Habib Bank Limited.

The Pakistan Stock Exchange, operating within the designated market category, has been informed of this development. Members of the Exchange have been advised not to engage in any trading related to the reported certificates until further notice.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), if no objections are received within seven days following the notice, duplicate share certificates will be issued to the concerned shareholders. The Exchange has urged its members to circulate this information and exercise caution in dealings involving the listed companies.

The announcement aims to prevent any unauthorized transactions and protect the interests of the shareholders involved.
