Suspension of Trading for Trust Investment Bank Limited Extended

Karachi: Trading in the shares of M/s. Trust Investment Bank Limited will remain suspended, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) announced, citing ongoing non-compliance issues. The suspension will continue until the company rectifies the causes of the initial suspension or for another 60 days starting March 31, 2025.

The suspension stems from Trust Investment Bank Limited's failure to comply with several PSX regulations. The company has not held the required Annual General Meetings, has not submitted its Annual Audited Financial Statements, and has not paid its dues to the Exchange. Furthermore, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has cancelled the company's Investment Finance Services (IFS) license and issued an order to initiate winding-up proceedings against the company.

This decision is made under the authority granted to the Exchange by Sub-Section (7) of Section 19 of the Securities Act, 2015, and clause 5.11 of the PSX Regulations. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the trading suspension will remain in effect until the underlying issues are addressed.

Trust Investment Bank Limited must address these compliance issues to resume trading of its shares. Stakeholders are advised to monitor updates from the PSX for further developments.
