GoP Ijarah Sukuk Maturing March 2025 Set for Delisting


Karachi: In a recent development, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced the delisting of the Government of Pakistan Ijarah Sukuk (GIS) with the maturity date of March 28, 2025. This decision follows the completion of the final payment to all eligible investors, signaling the conclusion of all obligations associated with this security.



According to the PSX notice numbered PSX/N-286, dated March 17, 2025, the trading of the GIS was suspended in preparation for its maturity payment. As confirmed by the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL), the final payment was successfully disbursed to all eligible investors by March 28, 2025.



Following the joint secondary market procedures of the PSX, Central Depository Company (CDC), and NCCPL, the security identified as P01GIS280325 will be officially delisted from the exchange effective April 04, 2025. This marks the end of its tenure on the market, and it will no longer be available for trading.



According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the delisting process is a standard procedure following the completion of a security’s maturity and payment obligations. The GIS was part of the fixed-income securities available on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, catering to investors seeking secure investment avenues.
