Karachi: Thatta Cement Company Limited announced the successful completion and commissioning of its 4.8 MW wind power project at the company's plant in Thatta, Sindh, on April 4, 2025. The project, which commenced operations on April 3, 2025, was completed ahead of schedule, marking a significant milestone for the company.

This development brings the company's total installed capacity from renewable energy sources to 9.8 MW. The capacity is comprised of a 4.8 MW wind power plant and a 5 MW solar installation. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this expansion underscores the company's commitment to sustainable environmental practices.
