IBL Healthcare Limited Reports Increase in Assets and Liabilities Amidst Rising Short-Term Borrowings

Karachi: IBL Healthcare Limited has reported its unaudited financial results for the period ending March 31, 2025, showing a noticeable increase in both assets and liabilities compared to the audited figures as of June 30, 2024. The company's total assets rose to 3.66 billion Rupees from 3.33 billion Rupees, reflecting a significant growth driven primarily by its current assets.

The increase in current assets was led by inventories, which escalated to 1.12 billion Rupees from 905.33 million Rupees, and trade and other receivables, which expanded to 1.72 billion Rupees from 1.33 billion Rupees. However, the company's cash and bank balances saw a sharp decline, plummeting to 31.04 million Rupees from 375.59 million Rupees.

On the equity side, the share capital remained unchanged at 856.75 million Rupees, while the unappropriated profit increased to 1.27 billion Rupees from 1.14 billion Rupees. This resulted in a total equity of 2.25 billion Rupees, up from 2.11 billion Rupees as of June 30, 2024.

Liabilities saw a marked increase, with total liabilities rising to 1.39 billion Rupees from 1.21 billion Rupees. This was largely due to a significant rise in short-term borrowings, which climbed to 371.30 million Rupees from 19.27 million Rupees. Meanwhile, trade and other payables decreased to 924.05 million Rupees from 1.13 billion Rupees, and sales tax payable rose to 13.14 million Rupees from 3.21 million Rupees.

The report also noted an increase in advance from customers to 57.80 million Rupees from 34.16 million Rupees, along with slight changes in other liabilities such as unclaimed dividends and unpaid dividends, which remained relatively stable at 7.06 million Rupees and 14.04 million Rupees, respectively.
