Karachi: Service Industries Limited has announced the withholding of dividends for shareholders who have not yet provided their valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or International Bank Account Number (IBAN) details, according to a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). This notice, dated April 28, 2025, will be published nationwide in the Business Recorder and Nawa-i-Waqt on April 29, 2025.
The company's decision follows the declaration of a 150% final cash dividend during its Annual General Meeting on April 28, 2025. In compliance with the Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017, the dividends of shareholders lacking valid CNIC and IBAN information will be withheld until the necessary details are provided.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), shareholders are encouraged to submit their CNIC and IBAN details to the Central Depository Company (CDC) Participant or the CDC Investor Account Services if their shares are held in the CDC. Alternatively, those with shares in physical form should provide the information to the company's Shares Registrar to enable direct transfer or credit of the dividend amount into their respective bank accounts via electronic mode.
