The company's financial results revealed a loss of 5.82 million rupees, up from 5.52 million rupees in the same period of 2024. The management is currently executing a closure plan approved by the Board of Directors and shareholders, which involves two major components: the disposal of assets and the formulation of a future business plan. Despite settling liabilities with the Bank of Punjab, Crescent Jute Products Ltd lacks sufficient surplus funds to proceed with the future business plan approved by shareholders in October 2011. The company is also engaged in ongoing litigation with Crescent Standard Modaraba over outstanding claims, complicating its financial situation.
