Director of Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited Buys Over 2,000 Shares

Lahore: Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited has reported a transaction involving the purchase of shares by a non-executive director, as per the regulations of The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited. The disclosure, made in compliance with Regulation No. 5.6.4, reveals details of the share acquisition executed by Muhammad Saeed uz Zaman, the director in question.

The transaction, executed electronically via the Central Depository Company (CDC), involved the purchase of a total of 2,100 shares. On May 2, 2025, Mr. Zaman acquired 996 shares at a rate of Rs. 140.50 per share, followed by an additional purchase of 1,104 shares at Rs. 141.00 per share. The transactions were conducted on the 'Ready' market, which falls under the designated market category.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the holding period for these transactions exceeds six months. Should the holding period be within six months, the company has stated that cheques equivalent to the profit will be deposited with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), as mandated by Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015. This measure will be taken under intimation to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

The company has urged the Exchange to inform the TRE Certificate holders accordingly, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.
