Karachi: AN Textile Mills Limited has reported significant share transactions executed by its non-executive directors, according to a disclosure under Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Regulation 5.6.4. The transactions were executed on May 12, 2025, involving the company’s shares held by directors and their immediate family members.
Nazma Amer, a non-executive director of AN Textile Mills Limited, made two separate purchases of company shares. The initial transaction involved the acquisition of 38,421 shares at a rate of 9.40 per share. A subsequent purchase on the same day added 1,000 shares at a slightly higher rate of 9.55 per share. These transactions increased Nazma Amer’s cumulative shareholding to 1,966,311 shares, which constitutes 20.35 percent of the company's total shares.
Additionally, Khawaja Amer Khurshid, also serving as a non-executive director, executed a purchase of 10,000 shares at a rate of 9.40 per share. This transaction raised his cumulative shareholding to 1,994,163, accounting for 20.64 percent of the overall shares.
The transactions were carried out in the market through the Central Depository Company (CDC) and reflect a strategic move by the board members to increase their stake in AN Textile Mills Limited. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions highlight the directors' confidence in the company's future prospects.
