Karachi: Executives of Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited have engaged in significant share transactions, as disclosed under Pakistan Stock Exchange regulations. On May 13, 2025, the Chief Executive Officer and two Executive Directors of the company collectively purchased 123,370 shares at a rate of 150.00 Pakistani Rupees per share, according to a disclosure communicated to the market.
Zafar Mahmood, the Chief Executive Officer, acquired 64,220 shares, while Khalid Mumtaz Qazi and Umar Iqbal, both Executive Directors, purchased 37,180 and 21,970 shares, respectively. The transactions were executed electronically through the Central Depository Company (CDC) under the ready market category.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these purchases are in accordance with Regulation No. 5.6.4 of the PSX regulations, which requires disclosure of interest by company executives in share transactions. The transactions have a holding period exceeding six months, ensuring compliance with the Securities Act, 2015.
In instances where the holding period is less than six months, the company has committed to depositing any profit with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), in line with Section 105 of the Act, and notifying the Pakistan Stock Exchange accordingly. The PSX has been informed to update the TRE Certificate holders of these developments.
