Ruby Textile Mills Limited Rectifies Non-Compliance of PSX Regulation, Remains in Non-Compliant Segment

Karachi: Ruby Textile Mills Limited ("RUBY") has resolved its non-compliance issue under Clause 5.11.1.(d) of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) regulations by settling its outstanding Annual Listing Fee (ALF). This development follows the PSX's compulsory buy-back directive issued on April 21, 2025, as mentioned in PSX Notice No. PSX/N-405.

On May 14, 2025, it was confirmed that RUBY had cleared its dues, resulting in the rectification of the non-compliance status concerning the ALF, as reflected in the Daily Quotations of the Exchange. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this action has addressed one of the compliance issues facing the company.

Despite this resolution, Ruby Textile Mills Limited will continue to be listed in the "Non-Compliant Segment" of the market. This status persists due to ongoing issues, including the suspension of its commercial production and business operations, alongside an adverse opinion issued by its statutory auditor in the most recent audit report. These issues relate to non-compliances under Clauses 5.11.1.(a) and (g) of the PSX regulations, which remain unrectified.

Ruby Textile Mills Limited's situation highlights the challenges faced by companies in maintaining compliance with PSX regulatory requirements, particularly in the designated market category for non-compliant entities.
