The transfer books will remain closed from February 07, 2026, to February 13, 2026, as the company prepares to process these transactions.
The announcement is directed at sukuk holders who are required to ensure their transactions are processed in time. Central Depository System (CDS) Transaction IDs must reach the Share Registrar, M/s. Digital Custodian Company Limited, at Perdesi House, 4th Floor, Old Queens Road, Karachi, by the close of business on February 06, 2026, to be eligible for the payments. This measure is essential to guarantee that all entitled sukuk holders receive their payments promptly.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), sukuk holders are also reminded to update their International Bank Account Number (IBAN) details by February 06, 2026. This step is crucial to facilitate the smooth transfer of the rental and principal amounts.
Additionally, the profit earned from these sukuks will be subject to the deduction of income tax as outlined under Section 151 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001. Sukuk holders are encouraged to provide valid Income Tax Exemption Certificates to the Share Registrar by the specified deadline to potentially mitigate the tax implications on their investment returns.
