Karachi: The National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) has declared a suspension of trading in the shares of Systems Limited, effective from May 29 to May 30, 2025, in accordance with the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Notice No. PSX/N-539. The suspension is due to a change in the face value of the shares.

On May 23, 2025, the PSX announced adjustments to the trading and settlement schedule for both the Regular and Deliverable Future Contract (DFC) markets. The schedule outlines that trades dated May 23 will be settled on May 27, while trades from May 26 and May 27 will be settled on May 29 and May 30, respectively. During this period, the square-up market will not be available, and any pending deliveries are scheduled for close-out on the respective settlement dates.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the leverage market will see adjustments as well. For the Margin Trading System (MTS), Murabaha Share Financing (MSF), Margin Financing System (MFN), and Securities Lending & Borrowing (SLB), the last trading date is set for May 23, with settlement on May 27. Open positions for MTS and SLB must be released by the end of the day on May 26, while positions for MFS, with or without sale, and MSF will be released on May 27, with a settlement on May 30.

It is also noted that shares of Systems Limited (SYS) deposited as collateral in all markets—Regular, DFC, GEM, and Leverage Market—will not be accepted from May 26 to June 2, 2025. These measures are part of the designated market category protocols to ensure a seamless transition during the suspension period.
