Stylers International Limited Reports Revenue Surge Amid Increased Production Capacity

Karachi: The Directors of Stylers International Limited have released the unaudited financial results for the nine months ended March 31, 2025, highlighting a notable increase in revenue driven by enhanced production capabilities and growth in key export markets. The company reported a revenue of 15,880 million PKR, a significant rise from the 9,819 million PKR recorded in the same period in 2024. This marks a 61.7% increase, attributed mainly to the expansion under the company's "Project Sunshine."

Gross profit for the period stood at 2,915 million PKR, compared to 2,131 million PKR in the previous year. However, the gross profit margin experienced a decline, dropping to 18.4% from 21.7%. This reduction was influenced by the appreciation of the Pakistani Rupee against the US Dollar and higher depreciation costs associated with the new plant.

Despite a substantial increase in the tax burden—rising by 367% under the Normal Tax Regime—the company maintained sound profitability, with a net profit of 930 million PKR. This figure represents a decrease from the 1,017 million PKR recorded in the previous year, reflecting an 8.5% drop. The earnings per share also fell to 1.91 PKR from 2.34 PKR due to reduced net profits and a dilution effect from earlier right share issuance.

The Board of Directors declared an interim cash dividend of 0.25 PKR per share, equivalent to 2.5%, for the nine-month period ending March 31, 2025. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company's financial decisions and strategies have demonstrated resilience amidst macroeconomic challenges.

Pakistan's macroeconomic environment showed signs of stabilization in the third quarter of fiscal year 2025. Declining inflation, a stable exchange rate, and easing monetary policy contributed to this trend. The State Bank of Pakistan's reduction of the policy rate by 1,000 basis points since June 2024 further supported investment and growth. Meanwhile, the textile sector experienced mixed outcomes, with increased international demand for value-added segments but pressures on margins due to competition and geopolitical tensions.

Looking forward, Stylers International Limited aims to continue its growth strategy, bolstered by the ongoing execution of "Project Sunshine," which enhances production capacities. The company remains vigilant of global trade dynamics, customer preferences, and cost structures, while prioritizing supply chain agility and sustainable practices.
