Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange has announced new rental charges for its in-house auditorium and trading hall, effective July 1, 2025. The announcement, made on June 25, 2025, details the availability of these facilities for various corporate and educational events.

The auditorium, which can accommodate up to 125 individuals, is equipped with multimedia and sound system facilities. Meanwhile, the trading hall offers a bare space with a capacity of 120 people. Market participants, listed companies, and corporate entities are invited to utilize these facilities for events such as corporate briefing programs, product launches, educational and awareness sessions, off-site staff training sessions, media briefings, annual general meetings, press conferences, and other events.

According to the new fee structure, the rental charges for the auditorium, inclusive of multimedia services, are set at PKR 40,000 for a minimum booking of three hours. Zoom connectivity charges, which cover internet, link, and camera facilities, are priced at PKR 20,000 for the same duration. For longer bookings, the charges increase incrementally, with a four-hour rental priced at PKR 45,000 and a five-hour rental at PKR 50,000. A full day rental is priced at PKR 80,000. In comparison, the trading hall, which offers a bare space, is available for PKR 85,000 for the entire day.

The Pakistan Stock Exchange emphasizes that all bookings are subject to availability, and the stated charges are exclusive of sales and service tax (SST). According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the facilities are designed to cater to a wide range of events, providing essential amenities to enhance the experience for participants.

This move is seen as an opportunity for businesses and organizations to host their events in a central location, equipped with modern facilities. The new pricing structure reflects a strategic approach to accommodate varying event durations and requirements, offering flexibility to the users.
