Bunnys Limited Expands Bread Production to Islamabad, Boosting Capacity

Islamabad: Bunnys Limited has announced the successful launch of a new bread production line in the I-9 Industrial Area of Islamabad, marking a significant expansion in its production capacity. This development follows a previous communication regarding the establishment of the facility.

The company has reported that the trial runs have been successfully completed, and commercial production has now commenced. The Islamabad facility's capacity is approximately a quarter of the existing bread production capabilities at Bunnys Limited's Lahore plant.

The new production line is strategically designed to serve the northern regions of Pakistan, including the cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. To facilitate distribution, Bunnys Limited plans to operate through warehouses located in various cities within the region.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this expansion is expected to positively impact the company's profitability. The management of Bunnys Limited is optimistic that the increase in production capacity and the entry into a new geographical market will contribute to improved financial performance.

The company's latest move is aligned with its growth strategy and reflects its commitment to enhancing operational efficiency while catering to a broader market. The expansion is anticipated to strengthen Bunnys Limited's presence in the designated market category, which covers consumer staples.
