Director Reduces Stake in Bank Alfalah Limited Amid Share Transactions

Karachi: Bank Alfalah Limited announced a series of transactions involving the sale of its shares by a director, Mr. Abdulla Nasser Hawaileel Al Mansoori, according to official communication from the bank. These transactions, executed in compliance with Regulation 5.6.4 of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Rule Book, took place over two consecutive days.

On July 9, 2025, Mr. Al Mansoori initiated the sale of 100,000 shares at a price of Rs. 88.49 per share. This transaction was followed by the sale of an additional 50,000 shares at Rs. 88.90 per share on the same day. The following day, July 10, 2025, he proceeded with the sale of another 50,000 shares, this time at Rs. 89.38 per share. Subsequent transactions involved the sale of 50,000 shares each at Rs. 89.50, Rs. 89.90, and Rs. 90.29 per share, respectively.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions were conducted in the 'Ready' market with shares held in the Central Depository Company (CDC) form. Following the completion of these sales, Mr. Al Mansoori's cumulative shareholding in the bank now stands at 88.83 million shares, equivalent to 5.6325% of the total shares. The cumulative sale involved a total of 350,000 shares at an average rate of Rs. 89.28 per share.

The designated market category for these transactions is 'Commercial Banks.' The movement in shareholding represents a minor move in terms of percentage change, reflecting a slight adjustment in Mr. Al Mansoori's ownership stake.
