Bawany Air Products Limited Seeks Removal from Non-Compliant Segment After Resuming Operations

Karachi: Bawany Air Products Limited has formally requested removal from the non-compliant segment of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) following the resumption of its operations. The company submitted an auditor certificate to the PSX, indicating its compliance with its principal line of business. This submission was made in accordance with Sections 96 and 131 of the Securities Act, 2015, and Clause 5.6.1 (a) of the Rule Book of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited.

Bawany Air Products Limited, which had previously been categorized under the non-compliant segment, confirmed through the auditor's certification that it has commenced operations consistent with its main business activities. This development was communicated to the PSX with a request to inform the TRE Certificate Holders about the change in status.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the submission is part of the company's ongoing efforts to align itself with regulatory requirements and restore its standing in the exchange's designated market category. The auditor's certificate, which is a crucial document in this process, affirms the company's operational compliance.

The company's request for removal from the non-compliant segment was initially communicated to the PSX in a letter dated May 30, 2025, with a follow-up letter from the PSX dated June 20, 2025. The latest submission includes the auditor certificate, which serves as evidence of the company's return to its core operational activities.

Bawany Air Products Limited's management has expressed confidence that the company will soon be reinstated in compliance with the PSX’s standards, following the verification of its operational status.
