Karachi: AGT Holdings (Pvt.) Limited, an associated company of Hoechst Pakistan Limited, executed a sequence of share transactions, as disclosed in a recent regulatory filing. The transactions, conducted on July 16 and July 17, 2025, marked minor moves in the cumulative shareholding of AGT Holdings within the company.
On July 16, AGT Holdings acquired 400 shares at a rate of 3,199 Pakistani Rupees per share. The following day, the company purchased an additional 500 shares at 3,200 Pakistani Rupees each. The cumulative result of these transactions brought AGT Holdings' total shareholding to 202,741 shares, maintaining their stake at 2.10% of Hoechst Pakistan Limited.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions have been categorized as minor moves within the designated market category. The regulatory framework under which these transactions were executed mandates that they be presented at the forthcoming board meeting of Hoechst Pakistan Limited for consideration. Compliance with this requirement is in accordance with clause No. 5.6.4 of PSX Regulations.
Further assurances have been given that the holding period for these transactions exceeds six months. However, should this not be the case, any profit realized from a shorter holding period would necessitate a cheque equivalent to the profit be deposited with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, in compliance with Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, with due notification to the PSX.
