Karachi: Recent disclosures from United Bank Limited (UBL) have revealed significant share transactions executed by key stakeholders in the company. The transactions, which occurred in mid-July, were carried out under the guidelines of the Pakistan Stock Exchange's (PSX) Regulation 5.6.4.
On July 17, Umair Zameer Choudrey, a substantial shareholder in UBL, purchased 401,508 shares at a rate of 372.71 each. This acquisition increased his cumulative holdings to approximately 14.12 million shares, reflecting a cumulative percentage of 0.56.
The following day, on July 18, Haider Zameer Choudrey, a non-executive director, executed a purchase of 500,000 shares at a rate of 372.18 each. This transaction brought his total shareholding to nearly 14.37 million shares, equating to a cumulative percentage of 0.57.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions represent a big move in the market category, given the volume and monetary value involved.
