Substantial Shareholder Increases Stake in Adamjee Insurance Company

Karachi: A substantial shareholder of Adamjee Insurance Company Limited, the Trustee-MCB Employees Pension Fund, has executed a significant transaction in the company’s shares. The transaction was disclosed under the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Regulation 5.6.4, which mandates the disclosure of interest by directors, executives, and substantial shareholders.

On July 17, 2025, the Trustee-MCB Employees Pension Fund, classified as a substantial shareholder, purchased 1,100,000 shares at a rate of 72.97 per share. This acquisition increased the cumulative number of shares held by the pension fund to 47.57 million, representing 13.59% of the total shareholding.
