Karachi: Siddiqsons Tin Plate Limited (STPL) has been restored to the Normal Counter on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) following rectification of previous compliance issues. This development comes after the company successfully convened its overdue Annual General Meeting (AGM) and submitted the required annual audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024. The announcement was made public via the PSX's Publicly Unlisted Companies Automated Reporting System (PUCARS) on July 29, 2025.
Siddiqsons Tin Plate Limited had previously been placed in the Non-Compliant Segment due to its failure to meet regulatory requirements, including the delay in holding its AGM and submission of financial audits. These actions had prompted the PSX to issue a "Risk Warning Alert" as per Notice No. PSX/N-599 dated June 05, 2025. The company remained in the Non-Compliant Segment for more than six months.
The rectification of non-compliances, specifically clauses 5.11.1.(b) and (c), has allowed STPL to transition back to the Normal Counter. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the shift will be effective from July 31, 2025, signaling the company's improved standing within the Stock Exchange's designated market category.
This move is expected to renew investor confidence and potentially impact the trading dynamics of STPL shares on the exchange.
