Karachi: Bank Islami Pakistan Limited has announced a significant change in its executive leadership team, appointing Mr. Hasan Shahid as the Acting Chief Financial Officer. This change came into effect on August 7, 2025, as Mr. Shahid steps in to replace Mr. Sohail Sikandar, who will continue his tenure as the Chief Operations Officer of the bank.
The bank also disclosed that Mr. Shahid's previous role as Company Secretary will be filled by Syed Muhammad Hasan Rizvi, who has been designated as the Acting Company Secretary. This transition also took effect on August 7, 2025.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these executive changes occur as part of the bank’s broader strategy to enhance operational efficiency and leadership dynamics.
