Karachi: In a recent transaction, Shahana Javed Amin, a non-executive director at First Elite Capital Modaraba, executed a sale of the company's shares, according to a disclosure of interest under the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Regulation 5.6.4. The transaction, dated June 12, 2025, involved the sale of 9,000 shares at a rate of 26.06. Following this, the cumulative number of shares held by the non-executive director stands at 9,391, representing a minor move in terms of the percentage change in ownership.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), such transactions are mandated to be presented by the company secretary at the subsequent board meeting. Additionally, extracts of the minutes are to be submitted using Form-30 through PUCARS, ensuring transparency and compliance with regulatory requirements.

The company must confirm that the holding period for this transaction exceeds six months. Should the holding period be less than this duration, any profit gained is required to be deposited with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) under Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, with notification to the PSX. Furthermore, the regulation stipulates that no director, CEO, or executive may engage in share dealings of the listed company during the closed period, ensuring adherence to governance standards.

First Elite Capital Modaraba is expected to update the necessary details in the UIN Management System promptly, maintaining the integrity of the market category and facilitating a transparent trading environment.
