National Bank of Pakistan Schedules Board Meeting to Review Half-Yearly Accounts

Karachi: The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has announced that its Board of Directors will convene on August 28, 2025, to deliberate on the bank’s half-yearly accounts for the period ending June 30, 2025. The meeting is set to take place at 4:00 p.m. at the bank's Head Office Board Room on I.I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi, and will also be accessible via Zoom.

In conjunction with this meeting, the bank has declared a closed period from August 21 to August 28, 2025. During this timeframe, the bank’s Chairman, Directors, CEO (President), and Executives are prohibited from engaging in any transactions involving NBP shares, in compliance with clause 5.6.4 of The Rule Book of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these measures ensure that no insider trading occurs during the evaluation of the financial accounts.

The NBP has communicated this schedule to the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange, in accordance with regulatory requirements. This procedural announcement comes as the bank prepares to disclose its financial performance for the first half of the fiscal year, which will be closely monitored by stakeholders for insights into the bank's operational and financial health in the designated market category.
