Jubilee General Insurance Reports Significant Move in Financial Results for Half Year Ended June 2025


Karachi: Jubilee General Insurance Company Limited has released its unaudited financial statements for the half year ended June 30, 2025. The Board of Directors approved the financial results during a meeting convened on August 21, 2025, both in-person at Jubilee Insurance House, Karachi, and via Zoom conferencing. The company did not declare any interim cash dividends or bonus shares for the period.



The financial results indicate a significant move in several key areas. The company’s total assets increased notably from 49.29 billion to 59.74 billion. The equity and liabilities also showed a notable change, with the total equity reaching 18.98 billion from 18.81 billion. Despite this, the issued, subscribed, and paid-up share capital remained steady at 1.98 billion.



On the liabilities side, underwriting provisions saw a very large or significant move, with figures rising from 12.44 billion to 11.95 billion. Similarly, total liabilities of Window Takaful Operations and other liabilities marked significant changes, climbing from 34.44 billion to 40.77 billion. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these figures reflect a robust financial position for the company.



Despite these developments, the reserves increased to 14.37 billion from 13.20 billion, indicating a big move in the company’s retained earnings. The financial results are set to be transmitted through PUCARS separately, adhering to specified time frames.
