Lahore: Adamjee Insurance, a prominent player in the insurance sector, today announced its financial results for the half-year ended June 30, 2025. The board of directors convened on August 28, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. to review the company’s financial performance, which was marked by a notable increase in profits.
The board recommended an interim cash dividend of Rs. 21 per share, equivalent to 29%, for the period under review. No bonus shares or right shares were announced, and there were no additional entitlements or price-sensitive information disclosed.
For the six-month period ended June 30, 2025, Adamjee Insurance reported a profit before tax of 4,336.85 million rupees, compared to 3,159.10 million rupees for the same period last year. The income tax expense for the period was 1,726.38 million rupees, resulting in a profit after taxation of 2,610.47 million rupees. This represented a very large or significant move when compared to the previous year’s profit after taxation of 1,904.80 million rupees.
The earnings after tax per share, both basic and diluted, rose to 7.46 rupees, up from 5.44 rupees in the corresponding period of the previous year. The company provided comprehensive financial statements, including the Statement of Unconsolidated and Consolidated Profit & Loss Accounts, Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Changes in Equity, and Statement of Cash Flows to support these figures.
