Karachi: Rafhan Maize Products Co. Ltd has declared a significant interim cash dividend following a robust financial performance for the half-year and quarter ended June 30, 2025. The announcement came after a board meeting held on August 27, 2025, at the Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
The board of directors recommended an interim cash dividend of Rs. 100 per share, marking a significant move, as this is an addition to the first interim dividend already paid at the same rate. Shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members by September 8, 2025, will be eligible for the dividend. The company has scheduled the closure of its Share Transfer Books from September 9 to September 10, 2025, to ensure the timely processing of transfer requests for dividend payments.
Rafhan Maize reported a total revenue of 36.53 billion for the first half of 2025, which indicates a moderate move from the previous year. The gross profit for the period reached 7.67 billion, while the profit after taxation stood at 3.87 billion. The earnings per share for the first half were reported at 418.57, reflecting a steady financial performance.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company’s financial position remains strong with current assets of 48.23 billion and non-current assets of 9.80 billion. The company’s working capital is recorded at 20.41 billion, and the total capital employed amounts to 30.32 billion.
For the quarter ended June 30, 2025, Rafhan Maize posted a gross profit of 3.77 billion and a profit after taxation of 1.91 billion. The earnings per share for the quarter were 206.90. The company’s comprehensive income for the half-year period, after accounting for actuarial losses on retirement benefits, totaled 3.65 billion.
