Karachi: In recent developments concerning The Organic Meat Company Limited, substantial shareholders Shahbaz Yasin Malik and Shahid Malik have executed significant transactions involving the sale of their shares, according to disclosures made under regulation P51< 5.6.4. The transactions, executed on August 29 and September 1, 2025, have been formally reported as per the regulatory requirements.
On August 29, Shahbaz Yasin Malik, classified as a substantial shareholder, sold a notable number of shares amounting to 5.38 million. Similarly, Shahid Malik, also a substantial shareholder, executed a sale of 9.80 million shares on the same day. Both transactions were conducted under the ready market category, reflecting a very large or significant move in share sales.
Further activity was reported on September 1, 2025, when Shahbaz Yasin Malik sold an additional 325,000 shares, while Shahid Malik completed a transaction involving 2.37 million shares. These sales were also classified under the ready market category, representing a minor move in the context of share transactions.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the executed transactions by these substantial shareholders will be presented by the Company Secretary at the next meeting of the Board of Directors. The details of these transactions will be documented in the minutes, which are to be submitted through Form-30 of the Correspondence Manual via PUCARS.
The company has ensured compliance with Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, which mandates that if transactions occur within a holding period of six months, corresponding profits must be deposited with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). Additionally, the company has updated the requisite details in the UIN Management System as required.
