Public Offer for Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited Concludes with Lower Share Tender


Karachi: The acceptance period for the public offer to acquire shares of Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited, managed by Arif Habib Limited on behalf of PTA Global Holding Limited, concluded on September 4, 2025. The offer aimed to acquire up to 189.17 million ordinary shares, representing a 12.49% shareholding interest in the company. This move was made in concert with Liberty Daharki Power Limited and Daewoo Pakistan Express Bus Service Limited.



According to the announcement, published in the Business Recorder and Nawa-i-Waqt newspapers on July 12, 2025, the public offer witnessed the tendering of 56.43 million shares. This figure fell below the targeted threshold of 189.17 million shares. Consequently, all shareholders who tendered their shares during the acceptance period will be considered successful, pending the completion of necessary documentation.



The transaction’s details will be submitted to the Commission after a thorough review of the received applications. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the acquisition is categorized under the designated market category of chemicals.
