Karachi: EFU General Insurance Limited has announced the successful credit of its interim cash dividend to shareholder accounts as of September 11, 2025. The dividend, declared at a rate of Rs. 1.50 per share or 15%, was approved by the company’s Board of Directors during their meeting on August 27, 2025, and has been processed in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
According to the company, the dividend distribution complies with PSX Regulation 5.6.10, ensuring the credit to shareholders’ bank accounts within the designated 10-working-day window following the closure of the transfer of books. This regulatory framework is in line with Rule 3 of the Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017, as well as Sections 242 and 243 of the Companies Act, 2017.
EFU General Insurance Limited has communicated the completion of this dividend credit to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company is obligated to inform the Exchange immediately upon the crediting of dividends to shareholder accounts. Failure to adhere to this regulation would result in a fine as specified under PSX Regulation 5.21.1.
The company has assured compliance with all necessary regulatory requirements, affirming its commitment to timely and transparent financial operations within the designated market category. This distribution marks a “Minor move” in the company’s financial activities for the year ending December 31, 2025.
