Goodluck Industries Limited Announces Financial Results and Cash Dividend Amid Moderate Profit Growth


Karachi: Goodluck Industries Limited has released its financial results for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, revealing a profit after taxation of 3.40 million rupees. This represents a moderate increase compared to the previous fiscal year’s profit of 3.26 million rupees. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company’s turnover experienced a big move, while the cost of sales followed a similar trend, impacting the overall financial performance.



The Board of Directors, during their meeting held on September 11, 2025, declared a final cash dividend of 3.00 rupees per share, equivalent to 30% of the share value, for the fiscal year ended June 2025. The dividend will be disbursed to shareholders listed in the Register of Members as of October 3, 2025. The Shares Transfer Books will remain closed from October 4, 2025, to October 11, 2025.



The Annual General Meeting is scheduled for October 11, 2025, at the company’s registered office in Karachi, where the detailed financial performance will be discussed. The annual report will be available through the PUCARS platform at least 21 days before the meeting.



Goodluck Industries Limited’s financial position highlights a slight decrease in total assets, amounting to 1.08 billion rupees, compared to the previous year’s 1.09 billion rupees. The company’s non-current liabilities saw a minor move, while current liabilities exhibited a very large or significant move, owing to changes in trade and other payables.



The statement of cash flows indicates a significant decrease in cash and cash equivalents at the end of the fiscal year, down to 16.56 million rupees from 53.77 million rupees at the beginning of the year. The company reported a net cash outflow from operating activities, primarily due to changes in working capital and increased tax payments.
