Trading Restrictions Imposed on Fairtrade Capital Securities by PSX

Karachi: Fairtrade Capital Securities (Private) Limited has faced immediate trading restrictions, according to a notice issued by the Pakistan Stock Exchange. This action comes after the firm failed to address non-compliances highlighted in an earlier notice from the PSX, dated June 30, 2025.

On September 30, 2025, a notification was sent to all market participants, stating that Fairtrade Capital did not rectify the issues outlined in PSX Notice No. PSX/N-696. The notice had previously restricted the proprietary trading activities of Fairtrade Capital due to these non-compliances.

The PSX had provided Fairtrade Capital with an additional opportunity to comply by registering its office as the head or main office. However, the firm did not meet this requirement, leading to the implementation of stricter disciplinary measures in line with PSX Regulations 20.5.2. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the trading facility of Fairtrade Capital is now restricted until further notice.

This decision has been made public in accordance with PSX Regulation 3.7, ensuring transparency and adherence to the established regulatory framework within the designated market category.
