Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced significant changes to the trading and settlement schedules for Deliverable Future Contracts (DFC) for the months of October, November, and December 2025. The revisions were made following the announcement of book closure dates for several companies listed on the exchange.
According to the revised schedule, for Air Link Communication Limited, trading and settlement on a cum-benefit basis will conclude on October 10, 2025, with final settlements set for October 14, 2025. The schedule without entitlement of benefits will commence on October 8, 2025, and conclude on October 31, 2025, with settlements on November 4, 2025.
The companies Ghandhara Automobiles Limited, Ghandhara Industries Limited, Millat Tractors Limited, and Pakistan State Oil Company Limited will follow a similar pattern, with cum-benefit trading ending on October 13, 2025, and settlements on October 15, 2025. Their ex-benefit trading will span from October 8, 2025, to October 31, 2025, with settlements on November 4, 2025.
Kot Addu Power Company Limited’s cum-benefit trading will wrap up on October 14, 2025, with settlements on October 16, 2025. The ex-benefit trading period will run from October 8, 2025, to October 31, 2025, with settlements finalized on November 4, 2025.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these changes aim to align with the book closure dates of the concerned companies, ensuring that all trades within specified periods are properly categorized as cum-benefit or ex-benefit transactions.
The overlapping period for the securities involves three trading days for Air Link Communication Limited, four trading days for the group of companies including Ghandhara Automobiles Limited, and five trading days for Kot Addu Power Company Limited.
PSX retains the discretion to modify the dates as necessary, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to market conditions. Market participants are advised to take note of these adjustments to avoid any discrepancies in trading and settlements during the specified periods.
