Nets International Communication Limited Announces Date for Annual General Meeting

Lahore: Nets International Communication Limited has announced that its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, will be held on October 28, 2025, at the Nine Tree Luxury Hotel & Suites in Lahore. This meeting will mark the company’s third AGM.

The meeting’s agenda includes the adoption of the audited financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2025, along with the accompanying auditors’ and directors’ reports. Furthermore, the Board of Directors has proposed the reappointment of M/s Abdul Khaliq & Co. (Chartered Accountants) as the company’s external auditors for the year ending June 30, 2026, with the proposal to fix their remuneration also on the table.

In addition to ordinary business, the AGM will address special business concerning the transmission of audited financial statements via QR-enabled codes and weblinks. This measure is in line with S.R.O. 389(I)/2023, issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) on March 21, 2023, facilitating digital accessibility for shareholders. Shareholders desiring hard copies of these documents may request them as per the outlined standard procedures.

The share transfer books of the company will remain closed from October 20, 2025, to October 28, 2025, inclusive of both dates. Transfer requests received by the close of business on October 19, 2025, at the office of the Share Registrar, M/s Digital Custodian Company Limited, will be deemed timely for AGM attendance and participation.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the meeting will also provide an opportunity for shareholders to engage with the company’s management via an online facility, for which registration is required by October 26, 2025.

In line with the Companies Act, 2017, shareholders are encouraged to convert their physical shares to book-entry form, a move also supported by the SECP to ensure compliance and facilitate safe custody and trading.

The AGM will allow electronic and postal voting options for special business items, with details provided to shareholders via the company’s official communications channels.
