Karachi: In a recent disclosure made by Beco Steel Limited, significant share transactions involving key executives and major shareholders were reported, highlighting notable changes in the company’s shareholding structure. The disclosure, dated October 20, 2025, outlined several transactions executed by Muhammad Ali Shafiquit Ch, the Director and CEO of the company, and Ch Muhammad Shafique, a major shareholder.
According to the detailed report, on September 30, 2025, Ch Muhammad Shafique executed a transfer of 48,636,667 shares as a gift through the Central Depository System (CDC). Subsequently, these shares were received by Muhammad Ali Shafiquit Ch as a gift, bringing his cumulative shareholding to 48,739,167 shares, which represents 39.00% of the total shares.
Following this, another transaction took place on October 17, 2025, where Muhammad Ali Shafiquit Ch sold 2,000,000 shares at a rate of 48.91 per share. This sale resulted in a reduction of his holdings to 46,739,167 shares, which equates to 37.40% of the company’s total shares.
The latest transaction was recorded on October 20, 2025, when Muhammad Ali Shafiquit Ch received an additional 13,040,000 shares as a gift, increasing his cumulative shareholding to 59,779,167 shares, or 47.84% of the total shares.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions underscore a very large or significant move in the company’s shareholding dynamics.
