Rawalpindi: In a significant development for the energy sector, Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC) announced that the Thar Energy Limited’s (TEL) 330MW power plant has reached its Project Completion Date as of October 31, 2025, according to project financing documents. This milestone comes after the plant, which is a mine mouth coal-fired Independent Power Producer (IPP) located in Thar, successfully commenced commercial operations on October 1, 2022. The company has urged relevant parties to inform the TREC holders of this material information in compliance with the Securities Act, 2015.
