National Foods Limited Credits Interim Dividend Amid Compliance Reminder

Karachi: National Foods Limited has announced the electronic disbursement of its First Interim Cash Dividend, amounting to Rs. 18.00 per share, equivalent to 360%, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. The dividend was credited on November 12, 2025, to the bank accounts of shareholders who submitted the necessary e-mandate information, including a 24-digit International Bank Account Number (IBAN) and a valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).

The company, in adherence to the Companies Act, 2017, has withheld dividends from shareholders who have not provided complete bank details or a valid CNIC. Notices regarding the dividend distribution were published in Business Recorder and Nawa-i-Waqt on November 13, 2025, to inform shareholders of the necessary compliance requirements.

This financial action by National Foods Limited aligns with Section 242 of the Companies Act, 2017, ensuring that dividend payments comply with regulatory standards. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), shareholders who have not complied with the information submission requirements are urged to do so promptly to avoid future inconveniences and ensure compliance with the law.

Shareholders are reminded of the mandatory requirement to submit their CNIC, address, email, contact number, and IBAN to the company's Share Registrar to avoid any legal non-compliance. Those holding shares in dematerialized form are advised to complete the necessary dividend bank mandate form through their participant/investor account services at the Central Depository Company (CDC).

Corporate shareholders are also requested to provide their National Tax Number (NTN) and Folio Number along with the CNIC copy of their authorized representative to facilitate smooth processing of dividend entitlements.
