Faysal Bank Credits Interim Cash Dividend Amid SECP Directions

Karachi: Faysal Bank Limited announced the crediting of an Interim Cash Dividend at the rate of Rs. 1.5 per share, translating to 15%, for the third quarter ended September 30, 2025. The payments were directly transferred to shareholders’ International Bank Account Numbers (IBAN) on November 14, 2025.

In compliance with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) directives, Faysal Bank withheld dividend payments for shareholders lacking valid IBAN details. These shareholders have been urged to update their IBANs through their respective Participant or CDC Investor Account Services for book entry form holdings or directly with the Bank’s Share Registrar for physical shareholdings. A valid CNIC copy is also required for the update process.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the dividend disbursement process involves access to the Central Depository System (CDS). Shareholders can obtain the Dividend, Tax & Zakat Deduction Report from their stockbroker’s CDS terminals or receive it via registered email addresses. Those with Pakistan Origin Cards or passport numbers updated in the CDS will receive their dividends after the initial payment cycle.

Faysal Bank has also noted that system errors or non-responsiveness from a shareholder’s designated bank might result in payment delays. Shareholders who do not receive their dividends are advised to contact the Bank’s Share Registrar, providing their Folio or CDC Account Number for resolution.
