Karachi: Shahmurad Sugar Mills Limited has disclosed recent transactions involving shares of the company by its non-executive director, Ainuddin. The announcement was made on November 19, 2025, detailing the acquisition of shares under the Pakistan Stock Exchange Regulation 5.6.4.

Ainuddin, a non-executive director of Shahmurad Sugar Mills Limited, executed a transaction on November 13, 2025, involving the acquisition of 45,817 shares. Following this transaction, his cumulative shareholding in the company stands at 832,476 shares, representing a 3.95% stake.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the transaction was categorized as "Other-In," indicating an addition to the director's shareholding. Notably, the cumulative percentage of shares held by Ainuddin reflects no change in his percentage stake, as it remains constant.

The company has emphasized that such transactions are presented by the Company Secretary at the next meeting of the Board of Directors. Furthermore, extracts of the minutes are to be submitted using Form-30 through the PUCARS system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The disclosure also highlighted that the holding period for the transaction must exceed six months, as mandated by the Securities Act, 2015. If the holding period is less than six months, any profit made from the transaction must be deposited with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
