Karachi: Sana Industries Limited, in an Extraordinary General Meeting held on December 3, 2025, at its headquarters in Karachi, announced the election of seven directors to its board, coinciding with the expiration of the previous board’s term. The newly elected directors, whose election was carried out in accordance with Section 159 of the Companies Act, 2017, will serve a term of three years starting from the date of the meeting.
In a resolution proposed by Mr. Muhammad Ali and seconded by Mr. Yousuf Khan, the shareholders unanimously elected Mr. Mohammed Younus Nawab, Mr. Mohammed Irfan Nawab, Mr. Ibrahim Younus, Mr. Ismail Younus, Mr. Muhammad Faizanullah, Shaikh Abdus Sami, and Ms. Zainab Hanif Dhedhi as directors of the company. The board’s composition reflects a blend of executive, non-executive, and independent non-executive directors.
Mr. Ibrahim Younus has been reappointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, while Mr. Mohammed Irfan Nawab will continue as the Chief Executive Officer. Both executives will serve for a term of three years, providing continuity in the company’s leadership.
The board has also reconstituted its committees, with the Audit Committee comprising Shaikh Abdus Sami, Mr. Mohammed Younus Nawab, Mr. Ismail Younus, and Mr. Abdul Hussain Antaria. Meanwhile, the H.R. & Remuneration Committee includes Ms. Zainab Hanif Dhedhi, Mr. Ismail Younus, Mr. Muhammad Faizanullah, and Syed Amjad Ahmed.
