Karachi: Bank AL Habib Limited has announced the recovery of share certificates that were previously reported as lost, according to a recent notification. The statement, dated January 6, 2026, indicates that the certificates have been located as per the shareholder's request.
The recovered certificate pertains to Folio #18222, under the name of Syed Muhammad Firoz Iqbal. The certificate, numbered 350725, encompasses a total of 1,679 shares, with the distinctive numbers ranging from 1033339198 to 1033340876.
The notification emphasizes that the recovered certificates are now eligible for inclusion in transactions. Bank AL Habib Limited has requested that this information be circulated among the members of the exchange to update the dealings accordingly.
In addition to Bank AL Habib, The Searle Company Limited also reported the recovery of previously lost share certificates, as detailed in Annexure-A. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these certificates have been authorized for reintegration into trading activities, following their recovery by the respective shareholders.
Market participants and members of the exchange are advised to update their records to reflect these changes, ensuring the seamless continuation of trade involving the previously misplaced certificates.
