Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited has announced a re-composition of the Alfalahi Consumer Index (ACI), effective January 7, 2026. This modification follows a comprehensive review conducted as of December 31, 2025, in line with the index rules available on the PSX website.
The re-composition sees National Foods Limited, Aisha Steel Mills Limited, and Azgard Nine Limited joining the index. In contrast, Crescent Steel & Allied Products Limited, Nishat Chunian Limited, and Unity Foods Limited are being removed. This adjustment reflects the dynamic nature of the market and aims to ensure the ACI remains representative of the current economic landscape.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the constituents of the ACI, along with their respective weights as of December 31, 2025, are detailed as follows. Lucky Cement Limited and Pakistan State Oil Company Limited each hold the highest weight at 10.00%. Maple Leaf Cement Factory Limited follows closely with 9.68%, while D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited and Fauji Cement Company Limited stand at 8.80% and 8.40%, respectively.
Other notable constituents include Millat Tractors Limited at 8.24%, Sazgar Engineering Works Limited with 6.29%, and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited at 5.96%. The Searle Company Limited, Nishat Mills Limited, and GlaxoSmithKline Pakistan Limited hold weights of 5.36%, 4.88%, and 4.34%, respectively. National Foods Limited, a new addition, has a weight of 4.04%.
The index also incorporates Interloop Limited at 3.78%, International Steels Limited with 2.80%, and International Industries Limited at 1.93%. Fauji Foods Limited, Mughal Iron & Steel Industries Limited, and Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited hold 1.82%, 1.51%, and 0.91%, respectively. Completing the list are Aisha Steel Mills Limited and Azgard Nine Limited with weights of 0.75% and 0.49%, respectively.
