Karachi: Crescent Star Insurance Limited has officially released its final right offer document for ordinary right shares, aimed at raising funds to meet the company’s working capital requirements and expand its insurance business. The announcement, made on January 12, 2026, follows the initial declaration of the right shares on March 27, 2025, and subsequent approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) on September 23, 2025.
The final offer document has been made accessible on the Pakistan Unified Corporate Action Repository (PUCAR) as well as the company’s official website. This follows the earlier upload of draft offer documents on PUCAR on October 1, 2025. Crescent Star Insurance Limited has undertaken to ensure that the offer document contains all material information relevant to the issue, with no omissions that could render any part of it misleading.
The primary purpose of the right issue is to secure PKR 122.77 million to address the working capital needs required for the expansion of the insurance business, including marketing and digitization of insurance products. This expansion is crucial for enhancing the company’s operational capabilities and market reach. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the full amount of the right issue proceeds is allocated to fulfill these working capital requirements.
The company’s financial structure is poised to change significantly post-issue. As of June 30, 2025, the authorized share capital was set to increase by 30% from 115,000,000 shares to 150,000,000 shares, while the paid-up capital is projected to rise by 38%, from 107,695,041 shares to 148,619,157 shares. Despite these changes, the net assets breakup value per share is expected to see a moderate move, decreasing from PKR 11.94 to PKR 11.40, a 0.54% reduction.
