Karachi: Shahtaj Sugar Mills Limited has announced its upcoming Corporate Briefing Session (CBS) to be held on January 28, 2026, at its registered office in Karachi. The session, scheduled for 2:30 P.M., will offer investors, analysts, and shareholders a detailed overview of the company’s performance for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025. In its latest financial disclosures, Shahtaj Sugar Mills reported total non-current assets of 6.64 billion rupees for 2025, indicating a significant increase from 5.94 billion rupees in 2024. However, the company’s current assets showed a decline, reaching 1.76 billion rupees in 2025 compared to 2.59 billion rupees the previous year. Consequently, total assets stood at 8.39 billion rupees, down from 8.53 billion rupees in 2024.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company’s shareholders’ equity experienced a minor move with an increase to 3.34 billion rupees in 2025 from 3.31 billion rupees in 2024. Non-current liabilities rose to 2.81 billion rupees, marking a big move from 2.57 billion rupees the previous year, while current liabilities decreased significantly to 2.24 billion rupees from 2.65 billion rupees in 2024.
The income statement revealed sales revenue of 8.65 billion rupees for 2025, a decrease from the previous year’s 8.82 billion rupees. The cost of sales amounted to 7.79 billion rupees, resulting in a gross profit of 859.39 million rupees, which is a moderate move down from 927.43 million rupees in 2024. The company faced a finance cost of 373.51 million rupees, a reduction from 644.72 million rupees in the previous year. Despite these challenges, the profit for the year was reported at 32.68 million rupees, showing a minor move from 32.15 million rupees in 2024.
